George Rodger
UGANDA. 1958. About 50 miles north of Kotido is Kaabong, centre of the Dodoth tribe, traditional enemies of the Jie and 'paternal cousins' of the Karamojong tribe. These pictures show the Dodoth people warming up for a dance, again our visit is a good excuse for a party. This includes mock charging with spears: men and women jump high in the air as the dances get going.
