FALKLANDS. "Operation room" on board the HMS Apollo. The ship is anchored in San Carlos water between the East and West Islands. Known as "Bomb Alley" during the war when the British made their first landings, Apollo is stationed to monitor insursions by Argentinian planes, to alert missile crews stationed on the mountain tops around San Carlos. 1984.
