China. Kindergarten Shi Nai Hai Guse for 41 children aged from 3 to 9 years old. The oldest child is 9 years old and he doesn’t go to elementary school because it’s too far away from home. There are three teachers and two other staff.
Teachers are mostly needed in this kindergarten but nobody would like to come since it’s too far away. There is only one teacher, who graduated from Northwestern University for Nationalities. The kindergarten is 8 km from the town and when there is no transportation, the teacher has to carry food and vegetables this distance on his back. Niangmocuo, is three years old at the Kindergarden. Her parents divorced, and both of them left. She now lives with Grandpa Dedouxiancairang, 71 years old, owning a grocery store for a living. They live next to the Buddhist temple, and about 2km from the school where they walk back and forth every week day. This work was carried out with the support of ProspectFoundation, China.
