Iran. 2015. The Bushehr nuclear power plant is one of the few nuclear achievements Iran has to show for after spending hundreds of millions of dollars on its nucler energy program - that is not included the damaging effects the sanctions over the program have had on the Iranian economy. The Bushehr nuclear reactor was finished by Russians, who also supply its fuel. It lies dangerously close to a large populated area in a region hit twice by earthquakes in 2014.
