To escape the misery in their own country, thousands of illegal South Americans leave Tapachula, at the border between Southern Mexico and Guatemala. They are embarking on the first stage of a long journey that will terminate in the USA, ending in broken dreams for many. Every day, between 500 and 1000 illegal immigrants cling onto freight wagons heading north out of Tapachula station.
