TURKMENISTAN. Dargan Ata. 2009. A pilgrimage site near Dargan Ata. This site has been revived through the work of an imam who trained in Saudi Arabia. Many female pilgrims visit the site to pray for children, leaving strings of cloth, cradles, and miniature dolls on the ground.
