Tamba’s first time was when he arrived in France in 2014. He didn’t know anyone and was feeling very lonely, so he approached one of the girls working in the 18th arrondissement and they fixed a price. He repeated the experience three more times, and then found a girlfriend. He paid 30 EUR each time and his motivations were purely physical. He says he is healthy and good-looking and it makes no sense to spend the night alone. Back in Mali he never had to go with prostitutes because he had plenty of girlfriends.
