TURKEY. Gaziantep. 2018. Mahmud lost 4 of his brothers during the fights in Aleppo. He fled to Turkey with his wife, son and two daughters in 2013. Then Shems was born in Turkey. Now she is 3. Out of the work (he is a garage employee), Mahmud spends most of his time playing with his little daughter Shems at home. Mahmud says, 'She's lucky, she hasn't witnessed all the horrors of the war like us. She was born here in Turkey.'
