USA. NYC. 2018. Born and raised in the Bronx, Eddie has worked as the doorman of this building on 86th Street for 31 years. He commutes
from the Hudson Valley, where he likes to fish and bike the trails in Orange County. Every day is a learning experience
for Eddie and he views the occupants of the building where he works as his extended family. “My job is fun and I get to
meet people from all different backgrounds and countries. Every time one of the kids in the building comes through, I try
to make them smile. My philosophy is to treat everyone with respect, in order to earn that respect back, whether it be a
tenant or a delivery boy. Keeping the building and tenants safe is my main priority.”
