USA. NYC. 2018. Julian is a waiter at the famous Barney Greengrass, the best place in the neighborhood to get Nova Scotia salmon with
cream cheese-on-an-everything bagel. Julian is a father, partner, writer, musician and fifth generation New Yorker. His love
affair with the city began at a young age; as he grew up on the east side and spent his childhood summers working in his
mother’s Jewelry store on 12th avenue and 47th street. This was also where his writing career began. His mother and her
sisters worked together in the shop and were vicious towards each other. Julian felt terrible for the employees that had
to work around them, so began writing stories about them; changing names and working very tactfully. He began reading
it to the employees, knowing there would be no consequences, as his mother wouldn’t fire him. The employees loved it
and were so grateful to know that someone understood the madness. Many years later Julian is now an accomplished
writer, having published two novels. He recently completed the manuscript for his third novel, which was previewed by
Playboy Magazine.
