TURKEY. Hatay. 2018. Halil, 16 years old, wait with the other Syrian teenagers near the Narlica bridge to be hired for daily works. They work mostly at constructions or olive fields to earn around 7 USD daily.

Halil fled from Idlib 5 years ago with his family, including his six brothers. He comes near the bridge every morning since he is 11 eleven years old. He starts to wait from 6am until the evening. He says 'we rarely get a job, we mostly wait for nothing'.
