IRAN. Masouleh. 2017. The mountain village of Masouleh, located in the green hills above the lush Caspian Sea region, is a key tourist attraction. Spring is near, while the trees haven’t sprouted leaves yet, the local villagers are preparing for the coming New Year by doing a traditional Spring cleaning. They wash their carpets and scrub their floors, also in anticipation of tourists that will visit their tabletof roofed houses during the two week annual holiday.
