IRAN. Khadjeh Abad Village, Khuzestan. 2018. Bibi jan Mokhtari, 57 years old combing her grandmothers hair, Elham Mokhtari, 6 years old. She is now living with her daughter’s family in a house and it’s her first time in her life that she is not moving with other Bakhtiari Nomads. Mahpasand Mokhtari, 62 years old, the other grandmother of the family making a hand craft which is one of the main sources for the family’s income. The Family rented this house to be able to stay and send the kids to school.They will continue nomadic life and move as soon as the children finish school.
