Africa. Niger. Diffa. 2017. Ai Ibrahim (27) succeeded to escape from Bozo Leleva island in Chad with her husband and 4 children when Boko Hrama attacked the island on April 2016. She said ' when they came they started to kill the men one by one. We found a small boat which is for 60 but we were 100 islanders on it.' They passed 180 km of distance and arrived in Kabliva town on Niger border. ICRC supported her to open a small market shop which she and her husband were doing in the island.
