A photograph of the late Bedouin land owner Sweilim Abu-Freih, the grandfather of Awad Abu-Freih, held against the background of the Forest of the German Lands near the Bedouin village of Al-Arakib. This forest was planted by the Jewish National Fund with the financial support from the German government, in the land that Abu-Freih purchased lot by lot from 1926 to 1947and was later confiscated by the State of Israel.
