CHINA. Hong Kong. October 1, 2019 is China's 70th National Day. Most of the "pro-China celebrations" in Hong Kong have been low-key and indoors. Out on the streets are the protests in six districts on Hong Kong Island and in Kowloon. Tens of thousands protesters dressed in black march on the street voice their "Five Big Demands," police answer with rounds and rounds of tear gas and over a hundred of protesters are arrests by midnight.
