GB. Northern Ireland. Belfast. 2019. Theresa May (right) speaks to mourners. Mourners after the funeral of Lyra McKee outside St Anne's Cathedral. The popular journalist (29) was shot by a New IRA gunman in Creggan, Londonderry. Irish Taoiseach Leo Varadkar and British Prime Minister Theresa May, as well as other political leaders in attendance. Behind May and to our left is the Irish Foreign Minister, Simon Coveney. Behind May and to our far right is the Irish Taoiseach, Leo Varadkar. Directly to the left of May from our view is a security officer operating a Pressel switch (visible between thumb and forefinger). Security is always tight for British political figures in Northern Ireland.
