Violent clashes erupted in the so-called Jungle camp in Calais, home to thousands of migrants, after a demonstration in their support was banned by local authorities.
The clashes opposed far left « No border » militants and migrants to the police, leaving 5 policemen and one photographer injured.
Another 150 protesters who left Paris aboard four coaches were blocked by police at a toll road 50 kms short of the city of Calais.
