Originally from Afghanistan, Joma Gol Jabar Khail has been in France since 2013. He lived on the streets of Paris, often hungry, until he moved in with a family. More recently, on February 19th, Joma Gol began sharing an apartment with Christine, who lives in the center of the city. They enjoy each other’s company and Christine has helped Joma Gol to read and learn French, who had never learned to read or write while growing up in Afghanistan. He now has the Statut Refugées.
