IRAQ. Baghdad. February 3, 2016. A young boy sits on a mattress inside the Al-Takiya Kasnazaniya camp for internally displaced families in the Doura district of Baghdad. This camp houses about 1400 families from predominantly Sunni areas of Iraq fleeing the conflict with the Islamic State.

The International Committee of the Red Cross tries to help families cope with the distribution of food parcels. In many cases it also distributes personal hygiene kits, stoves, blankets and heaters. However, it is difficult for families to be resilient under such circumstances.
