GREECE. Thessaloniki. 2005. Mike and his daughter Ema were political refugees from Sudan. They escaped to Greece by boat. On this harrowing trip, forty seven passengers drowned. Mike and his family ended up in Thessolaniki where they are living in a refugee shelter temporarily. Their main hope is to get amnesty so they can get the necessary documentation to remain in Greece.
