WEST BANK. February 2006. Qalandia Checkpoint. Palestinians follow the fence leading them into the new hi-tech terminal complete with video cameras, electronic turnstiles, remote X-Ray machines and soldiers sitting in isolated booths behind banks of monitors. The terminal is an exit through the wall which runs deep into Palestinian territory and could unilaterally re-define Israel's border cutting any future Palestinian state of Palestine into disconnected enclaves.
