BOLIVIA. Santa Clara Colony. 2002. Maria Neufeldt plays her accordion between her familie's modest home and the animal manger. She and her parents moved to Bolivia from western Canada to avoid adaptation to modern and secular culture. Santa Clara Colony is one of the few of the 40 or more Mennonite colonies in Bolivia where instrumental music and dancing are allowed.
