Celebration of All Saint's Day (November 1st) in Manila cemeteries. Although the following day All Soul's Day is the traditional day for celebrating one's departed relatives in the Catholic Church, the majority of Filipinos flcok to the cemeteries on All Saint's Day. It is customary to gather ones family by the graveside of relatives, light candles, lay down a food offering, and often families will also have a picnic.
