Young Cairo residents out at Ahwas (traditional Egyptian coffee cafes. The egyptian coffee houses has always been a prime lcoation for socializing and discussing everythign from political situation to gossip. With the current political turmoil, there has been a curfew on movement in Cairo after dark. Now it is lifted to start late in the evening, at midnight, and people are starting to flock back into the cafes and streets.
At the legendary coffehouse Fishawis, which was frequented by literary greats such as Nobel Prize winner Naguib Mafouz.
Women from the United Arab Emirates visiting Cairo and enjoying tea and life on the sidewalk cafes, and dancing to music in public. They are originally Palestinians, but living in Emirates.
