Three days of Eid ul Adha celebrations. Part of the festivities is the sacrificing of goats, cows/bulls and camels. In the Burns Road ares in Saddar Town, Downtown Karachi.
Dinner on the second day of Eid ul Adha at the Chand family's home. The meats were prepared form the fresh Eid sacrifices.
Eid ul Adha is the second of two religious holidays celebrated by Muslims worldwide each year. It honours the willingness of Abraham (Ibrahim) to sacrifice his young first-born son Ishmael as an act of submission to God's command and his son's acceptance to being sacrificed, before God intervened to provide Abraham with a lamb to sacrifice instead.
