Elliott Erwitt
SCOTLAND. 2012. Volunteer Sylvia Porter and founder/ curator Dugald Ross with a famed dinosaur footprint slab, Staffin Museum, Ellishadder, Isle of Skye, Inner Hebrides. The museum houses local geological and fossil specimens including a replica of the world's smallest dinosaur footprint. Ross founded the museum in the late 1970s, and, at that time, the collection was largely based on social history and archaeology. The footprint slab, which seems to show several young dinosaurs following behind an adult, was discovered by Ross and Paul Booth at Score Bay, North Skye in 2002.
