USA. Redlands, California. January 23, 2015. Adriana, 20, at her friend’s Jesus apartment. From time to time, Jesus lets Adriana use his room to change her clothes and shower before going back into the streets.
Adriana grew up in foster care, and at age 18 she left the system to start on her own, eventually ending up in Las Vegas with a boyfriend. She returned to the Inland Empire angry and depressed, after her boyfriend cheated on her and left her, while at the same time keeping custody of their 2-year-old son Romeo.
Adriana dreams of going to culinary school to become a baker.
