GB. England. Fab Lab. David Buckley, Roboticist. David Buckley is a roboticist and has been producing robots and animatronic systems for over a quarter of a century. Since the late eighties he has been designing and building custom electro-mechanical special effects and figures for museums and theatres. These range from: a walking doll for a performance of the Nutcracker and a dinosaur with moving eyes for Newcastle Natural History Museum. David also designs robot kits used for education purposes, sold worldwide. Shadow Biped, a two-legged human sized robot was acquired by the London Science Museum for their Permanent Collection in 2013. England. 2013.
