Peter van Agtmael
USA. Lobard, Illinois. 2013. Hannah Linley (7) in front of their old house where David Linley fired 125 bullets following at an extreme episode of PTSD. Sgt William 'David' Linley is a Marine Corps veteran who went on four combat deployments, to Grenada, Beirut, the first and second Iraq wars. He sunk into PTSD in late 2004 and one day in 2006 ordered his family out of the house and tried to kill himself gas from the fireplace. When the cops came he began shooting from an upstairs window. He fired 125 shots, none of them at people, trying to get a police sniper to kill him. He was eventually wounded in the arm and arrested.
