Lester MACKINNEY, right, and other members of the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC) lead Sam BLOCK, center, away after staging a demonstration outside a Tic Toc hamburger restaurant. Block was stabbed in the chest with a pen when he tried to enter the restaurant.
