Palestinians in the villages north and north west of Jerusalem (Beit Surik, Bidu, Qatane, Beit Anan, Beit Dukko, Beit Ijza, Nabi Samuel and Beit Ikssa, Bir Nabala, Rafat, Kalandia, Al-Gadeera and Al-Jeeb) will lose more than 80% of their farmland. Therefore affecting their sustenance in a landgrab sanctioned by the wall's path. To date, five residents of nearby Bidu have died in protests against the wall.
