An Israeli soldier inside the destroyed National Museum at a defence post, which had a Russian made Syrian DUSHKA machine gun.The Museum became a crucial strong point in the struggle for control of Beirut.The gun emplacement had been controlled by Syrians for 4 years before being taken over by the Israelis.
