In February 1995, Gedeminas TARANDA, a leading dancer of the Bolshoi was sacked for insubordination, when he went on stage to tell a VIP audience that he would not be dancing for the Director Yuri GRIGOROVICH, who then instinctively ordere policemen to arrest him. In this photo Taranda returns for a visit to the Bolshoi and is embraced by an employee of the catering service, he was much liked by everyone.
