WEST BANK. Camp Kadum settlement. June 79.
In the heart of Samaria, land captured from Jordan in the 1967 war, a Jewish settlement has been created at Camp Kadum (Elon Moreh in Arabic) at a hilltop on the West Bank.Since 1967 war, when Israel seized the Sinai from Egypt, the Golan from Syria, and the West Bank from Jordan, more than 70 Jewish settlements have been created in the region.
Ariel SHARON the Israeli Agricultural Minister, who is the Israeli Government's most agressive advocate of settlements, visited the site.
