The refugee reception center of Shaar Aliyah near Haifa, European and Arab refugees, are brought with their baggage by truck.Shaar Aliyah (which means The Gate) was fromer called St Luke's camp, it is a transit camp where they get their medical examinations and registration, and from here they are sent to different cities, work camps, settlements or homes for the aged and the sick.
