The ship can launch four aircraft simultaneously using it's four catapults on the four and a half acre flight deck, and has up to 80 aircraft on board including: EA-6B Prowlers for radar jamming, the airborne radar E2-C Hawkeye, two squadrons of F14 Tomcats, two squadrons of F18 Hornets. 1999
