The Negev Research Experimentation Station is a computer controlled irrigation system.Experiments are being made of how to use salt water, the yellow pipe contains fresh water from the National Water Carrier system, and the red pi[pe contains brakish water from the underground reservoir.These Motorola Irrigation Control systems, are saving water, energy and manpower.They provide a higher yield and a better crop uality and accurate irrigation and fertilisation.They were first installed in a Kibbutz near the Gaza strip, as an internal water system for its inhabitants.
