Children walking barefoot since their mother has taken off their only boots to be repaired in the Swedish Red Cross workshop. The workshop handles 200 pairs daily, carries out repairs in 48 hours. In very cold weather the workshop lends out pairs of boots to be worn home by children while their own pair is being mended.
