Mrs Jacqueline KENNEDY and her party made a 6 day trip to Cambodia where she was welcomed by Prince Norodom SIHANOUK.Even though Cambodia had broken diplomatic relations with the United States in criticism of the Johnson campaign, everything was done to make her party feel at ease.She was accompanied by her friends; Lord HARLECH the former British ambassador to Washington, columnist Charles BARTLETT and his wife, Michael FORRESTAL a NY attorney and former White House aide.

The party was given a performance of Khmer classical dance performance.
