Peter Marlow
GB. Norfolk. The reed swamp fringe of the Broad is being restored, by cutting the trees that have encroached on the Broad, and encouraging the growth of the original varieties of reed, which are a better habitat for the rare wildlife in the area, and also serve to protect the banks against erosion from fishermen and passing river craft. Deborah Dunsford, conservation officer for The Broads Authority. 1997.
