The Drug problem with American GI's in Vietnam. 1971
The Phucat US Air Force base where is stationed the 173rd Airborne Division, which has the Amnesty Programme for drug addicted GI's. TheAmnesty Programme takes on to three weeks. In the best conditions,about 50% of the GI addicts don't go back immediately on to heroin.But only a few GI addicts in the American army units in Vietnam
accept recognition of their problem and join one of the 15 programmes inVietnam.
An addict going for consultation under a sign reading " If you have drug problem-go this way".
