Tomb of Gerda TARO at the Père-Lachaise cemetery in Paris (near the Mur des Fédérés), decorated with sculptures by Giacometti, she was killed on the Spanish front at Brunete on 25 July 1937. During World War II the inscription was removed, and the new tombstone just has her name (see photo Burri 92019w00002/36). This image was taken from a magazine published in 1937.
