Jericho.Israel.1968.
After crossing the Jordan River during the night, a group of armed infiltrators managed to reach the banana plantations in Jericho and hide out there. In the early morning their tracks were discovered by Israeli army trackers, which led to their hiding place. After a close quarter battle, all the infiltrators were killed. The event was known as THE BANANA CRATER INCIDENT.
