The RUNGIS wholesale market in the suburbs of Paris, it is here that every night trucks arrive from all over the country and Europe to deliver their fresh goods for redistribution. Paris was famous for its LES HALLES market (often called 'the belly of Paris) prior to the 1960's, but the Municipality decided to move this wholesale market to RUNGIS near Orly airport.
