PAKISTAN. Followers of Anayatollah Khan El Mashraki, led by his son, hold a rally each year at the site of his mausoleum in Lahore. Anayatollah Khan was the founder of the Islamic-facist movement, "Khaksar", which fought for Pakistan's independence from British rule. The original fervour and passion which presided over the creation of the State of Pakistan, is still alive today among Khaksar militants. This movement is now marginalised from the mainstream of Pakistani politics. 1988.
