Namibia. Windhoek. The country's first independent elections with a nationwide electorate. Two days before the election the Democratic Turnhalle Alliance holds a rally. The alliance is made up of eleven different politcial groups and is supported by the South African government and private enterprises. The alliance is fighting for a democratic state, the promotion of private enterprise and the protection of minority groups.
