UK. Wales. Hay on Wye. Literary Festival. Writer. Anna-Leena HARKONEN was born in Liminga in 1965. At the age of 18 she wrote her first novel and was awarded a literary prize for best debutant novel. Several sucessful novels later she presently works both as writer and actress appearing in films and at the Finnish National Theatre.
