Fondation Henri Cartier-Bresson
CEYLON. Colombo. March 1950. In the residential section, the walls are covered with slogans dating from the war. The Government asked the population, in English and Sinhalese, not to spend money wastefully. The Communists have recently utilized these walls to chalk their slogans underneath. They attack Capitalism and the UNP, the United National Party, which is the Government Party.
