G.B. ENGLAND. Newcastle. Gateshead. The conversion of Baltic Mills, from disused grain silos to Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art, a major new centre for contemporary art, due to open in fall 2001. The project is funded by a variety of scources, including a 33.4 million pounds from the British Lottery. Engineering of the design by Atelier One. Design by EWA Architects of London. 1999.
